Overview
We can help design, develop and implement guardian and community stewardship programs that allow the community to overcome the complex challenges they face in managing their land. We can help produce leaders to advocate for management practices based on Indigenous knowledge, community values, and scientific methods. Participants will learn the core skills needed to work with government and industry on land-use planning and protection, and in the assessment, development, management, and monitoring of resource projects. We have helped develop, build, and train people and programs in the Dehcho, Sahtú, and the Tłı̨chǫ.
