Snowmobile Training

Snowmobile Training

We offer the Canada Safety Council Snowmobile Operators Course.

  • Practice Lead: Geneviève Côté
  • Duration: The course lasts 8 hours, often over a period of 2 days.
  • Outcomes: Get a snowmobile operators certificate from the Canada Safety Council through classroom and outdoor instruction.
  • Safely operate a skidoo.
  • Read the terrain you are riding in.
  • Conduct a pre-ride inspection and understand basic snowmobile maintenance.

We are certified by the Canada Safety Council to deliver the Snowmobile Operators Course. The course is split into two components: a classroom portion and a fun field-based portion that will introduce you to pre-ride inspections, controls, proper operation, reading terrain, turning, and hill climbing. Successful participants are awarded a certificate from the Canada Safety Council.
